Ultracycling Recumbent Riders, Bachetta Bikes

CorioVelo gives a shout out to the Randoneurs and Long Distance Cyclists. Two of the featured CorioVelo Athletes are Steve and Peggy Petty who are coached by the CorioVelo principles. Steve and Peggy just finished the 600k team event down in Fredricksburg and also they rode the famous Sebring 24 hour race in Florida. They now ride on the official Bachetta Recumbent team and are preparing for the up coming RAAM qualifiers.

Watch out for Lauren Bailey, up and comer for the Triathlon and Duathlon, she won her age group and FAST and FURIOUS. We want her to convert to the CorioVelo world.. Congrats.

Scott Simmons smashes Record

Scott Simmons broke the time trial record at Denton time trial. Average speed was 28 plus, for a 12 mile course. Scott follows the CorioVelo principles and training. Good Job,, WELL DONE.

Recumbents Break records, CorioVelo Principles

Steve and Peggy Petty and John Schlitter of Bachetta Recumbent Bicycles broke the course record at the Hill Country 600k in a recumbent relay. Steve and Peggy follow the CorioVelo principles. Congrats, good job, At CorioVelo we love the Bents.

CorioVelo Age Group Placings among Races

CorioVelo driven athletes have been busy over the last two weekends.

Steve Petty went to Sebring 24 hour and placed 1st in his age group. With 300 plus miles.

Texas Motor Speedway Duathlon- Wintery Blistery rainy race day.
Todd Mann won his age group.
Kevin Lair Placed third in his age group.

Jeff G.. Placed high at Walburg and then Placed third in his age group at Pace Bend amongst a highly competitive field.

Barrett Brandon Pro Triathlete

I have added Barrett Brandon Pro Triathlete and Coach to my watchlist. His Blog is called " just follow your feet". We in the CorioVelo Nation should cheer Barrett on in his ultimate quest in the ITU world rankings. I have known Barrett for awhile and used to coach against his father at a rival school. His dad is a bad ass runner also. Watch Barrett conquer the world in the fast and furious ITU racing season.

Ghost Rider on a TTX

CorioVelo has added a new athlete to our Roster. He has asked that his name not be mentioned until he actually comes back to the Racing scene. He will be riding the New Trek TTX Equinox version. This athlete participated in the World Championship and is a Hurricane Force on the bike. WHO is the GHOST RIDER.?????

SRAM XX Sram Red, TREK TTX CorioVelo, climbing

It is done I copied travis brown when he used Sram Red with Sram XX on his mountain bike. Instead we (John Mc. from Fort Worth cycling, Josh from Ft Worth Cycling Fitness in Fort Worth) put Sram XX with a Sram XX cassette on my TREK TTX time trial bike, which has SRAM RED Integrated Shifters. Look at the pics. SWEETNESS, SO SWEET it is BITTER SWEET.
